Elder Aaron Olorunmaiye Baiyemo was born in Ihale Bunu in kabba/bunu local government area of kogi state. He started his primary education at kabba divisional education authority (KDEA) primary school in (1963-1969) at Iluke-Bunu where he obtained his first school leaving certificate. He proceeded to Igosun Teachers college in Oyun Local government Area of Kwara State (1974-1979) where he obtained the Grade (II) Teachers certificate.

He thereafter proceeded to the then Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin (1984-1986) now Kwara State Polytechnic, for his National Diploma in Accountancy. He also obtain his Higher National Diploma from the same institution (1988-1990).

His taste for professionalism took him to Nigerian college of Accountancy Jos where he was certified as a member of the prestigious body of Association of National Accountant of Nigeria. (ANAN) in (1998-1999).

The quest for knowledge lead him to University of Ado-Ekiti (UNAD), Now known as Ekiti-State University(EKSU) were he obtained his Master Degree in Business Administration(MBA) in 2004.

He was given appointment as a proof reader in the kwara state printing and publishing corporation Ilorin, Publisher of the Herald Newspaper in the year 1981.He also became the acting head of department of finance in the same corporation.

As a result of the creation of Kogi State in 1991 he was deployed to Kogi State Printing and publishing corporation, Publisher of the Graphic Newspaper in 1992 where he established the internal audit unit of the corporation.

In 1993 he transferred his service to local government service commission and was transferred to Kabba/Bunu Local government area.

He served in various local government in the state. Appointed Head Department of Budget Planning, Research and Statistics in 2008. Due to diligence and hardwork he was also appointed as a Treasurer in 2010 until his retirement from local government service commission in 2016.

He has attended various Workshops and Seminars on Revenue Generation, Budget/Budget Preparation, International public sector accounting standards, etc. He is also a member of chartered institute of taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
