Dear Okun Leaders…

How do you feel in a time like this when injustice, killing, kidnapping, and our youth suffering in abject poverty yet keeping quiet?

How do you feel about the recent death of our daughter Miss Tolulope Arotile. Are you keeping quiet again? Maybe normal condolences

How do you feel about Edward Onoja’s N500,000 scholarship to 26 First Class graduates from Kogi East and probably getting them a good job?

How do you feel about Yahaya Bello upgrading Osara Health College to a full fledge University where we’ve been agitating for the upgrading of College of Agriculture Kabba to University of Agriculture?

How do you feel about the recent Isanlu robbery? Are we keeping quiet as a normal thing

How do you feel about the daily Kidnapping along Obajana road?

How do you feel about the rate of unemployment in our district?

How do you feel about the dilapidated condition of our educational system in Okun Land?

How do you feel about Yagba Road? How many accidents do you want to see before swinging into action?

How do you feel about Igala claiming our inheritance/land in Lokoja?

How about our Son Major-Gen Adeniyi who is facing trials in the hand of Nigerian Army just because he voiced out? Are we leaving him to face this injustice alone?

How do you feel about 2023, is there any structure or any plans on ground to take the governorship or we fold our hands as usual?

My dear leaders, is it not sad that over 15 years we do not witness any developmental projects and you’re still keeping mute? Haba

Why are we at where we are, we have been oppressed and yet you kept quiet?
For how long??

We don’t need Press Statements anymore, we need ACTION

Arise o ye Okun Leaders and let the world hear us!

The Time is Now!

Ajagun Opeyemi Samuel
A concerned Okun Youth.
