Today, I joined notable Nigerians and colleagues in the 2021 edition of Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration, to honour the fallen heroes and veterans in Nigeria, led by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari.

These are men and women that gave their all, in defence of Peace, stability and Unity in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We remember and celebrate you all, today and always. May your effort never go in vain.

I pray for the continuous consolation and protection of our gallant troops and veterans, most especially families of deceased heroes.

We thank you very much indeed for all you have done for our beloved country and we miss you. May the soul of fallen heroes continue to rest in peace.
