Demise of Alh. Sule Aliyu; Okene Council Chairman Expresses Shock, Says His Death Is A Painful Loss To Ebiraland

The Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has expresses shock over the passing on of an elder statement and community leader, Alh. Sule Aliyu whose sad event occurred in the early hours of Thursday 11th February, 2021 at the age of 79. The Council Chairman describe the death as painful and end of an era.

Engr. Sule Aliyu was a veteran politician, a successful business man, a community leader, a disciplinarian and a peace maker. The chairman remember vividly the significant roles played by the late elder statesman in maintaining peace within the state and until his death, he was the President of Ebira Supreme Council of Elders.

The late Engr. Sule has also over the years availed the younger generations his wealth of experience in public service, peace and developmental politics. He had offered useful advices to both the State and Local Governments.

Hon. Abdulrazaq condole with his immediate family, the State Accountant-General, the people of Okengwe district and Kogi State Government on the painful and irreplaceable loss of an icon.

He prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljana Firdause.
