The peoples Democratic party, PDP, candidate in the last Kogi state gubernatorial election, Engr. Musa Wada, has given his full support to the youths of our dear country in “speaking up” for their rights.
Musa Wada in a short statement on his verified Facebook account wrote that:
“The #ENDSARS protest is just a subjective condition for an impending revolution on the journey towards restructuring of our country’s political system.
I share in the pains of Nigerian youth who for long have been victims of social deprivations such as limited opportunities, unemployment, poor economy and education,
The Nigerian youth are fighting back with vigor and defiance because its only chance to live. The political elites should be wise enough to know that they can’t crush a people whose only hope of living is to risk death
The EndSars/Swat agitation are only trigger of a much deeper youth resentment against the Nigerian state.
The protest aren’t just against police brutality ; they are also against the oppressive and obscenely unequal and lenghty character of the Nigerian society.
My support and prayers are with all the Nigerian youths that are currently out of their comfort zones – who are making their voices heard and also paving way for a Nigeria of our dreams! You are the shield of the present Nigeria and the next generation.
