Faleke Congratulates Gov. Bello, Says “I Believe He’ll Put Kogi On The Path Of Progress In His Second’

A member representing Ikeja federal Constituency who double as the Chairman Chairman House Committee on Finance, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke,  on Monday congratulated Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello on his inauguration as the Executive governor of Kogi State for second term.

Faleke said that he is optimistic that the Governor had shown determination in his second term to truly take Kogi State to the next level of economic prosperity and political stability.

He expressed confidence in Bello’s capability to engender policies that would permanently and genuinely reduce corruption in the State.

According to the lawmaker :”I believe he’ll put Kogi on the path of progress in his second term despite the economy crunch facing the state and the country in general ” Faleke said.

He urged Governor Bello, to work in synergy with the Federal Government, which he said would benefit the common people greatly, noting that “the essence of democracy is for development of the people and self development, as politicians we should consider the people first.” he noted

Faleke further advised the governor and his incoming cabinets to see governance as an opportunity “to give and not to take.” he restated the imperatives of reducing poverty level in the state, especially in the rural areas, urging Bello to see it as a priority.
