HON. ABEJIDE LAUNCHES PROJECTS WORTH MULTI-MILLIONS OF NAIRA INTERVENTION IN HEALTH, EDUCATION AND AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN YAGBA

The Honourable Member Representing Yagba Federal Constituency Hon. Leke Abejide launched the distribution of medical facilities for hospitals, modern school facilities of tables with chairs for schools and seedlings for farmers to improve agriculture across Yagba Federal Constituency.

The House Member reiterated his commitment to the improvement of the health sector in Yagba through the provision of drugs and medical facilities to hospitals to enhance their service delivery as he flags off the distribution of multi-million naira medical items, modern school facilities and seedlings in the constituency.

Hon. Leke disclosed that he is giving priority to areas lagging especially the health sector, education and agriculture that needs adequate attention so that people in the rural areas will have access to adequate health care services modern-day learning facilities and there will be enough foodstuffs in the coming years ahead.

He said, most of his projects were meant to tackle thematic areas that directly affect the people negatively, this is the era of governance, the only way to achieve desirable results is to take developmental strategies that will have direct impacts on the people of Yagba, we can’t do everything at once, but we can do the most important ones, which includes securing the best future for the young ones in Education, improving our health facilities, Agriculture, like giving seedling to our farmers, Infrastructures, Employment opportunities and other areas that are of great necessity to the constituents.

More so, let me make it categorically clear that these items should be used immediately, after the distribution, we would as well visit the selected hospitals and schools to see that these medical items are all in use. We don’t want a situation where these items would be abandoned, diverted or sold which is contrary to the intended purpose.

“To acknowledge my steps at improving the health status of our people and upgrading our hospitals, schools, as well as agriculture, is to ensure that the materials provided today are used judiciously and so that our farmers will enjoy support about what to plant. Its rainy season and our support in Agriculture is essential at this time he said”.

Hon. Leke announced the schools to benefit from the modern school facilities, he said there are about 22 schools to benefit from this intervention.

He appreciated the people for their perseverance and commitment to moving Yagba forward, he said this journey is a collective responsibility that we must accomplish together.
