The Leke Abejide Foundation (LAF) is a non-governmental organisation that is with the desired goal of reaching out to people in different communities and grassroots flags off the yearly payment of WAEC payment for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The program kicked off today in Mopa Amuro local government area of Kogi State, the beneficiary students for this year’s program from all the secondary schools across Mopa Amuro were gathered at Cruise Memorial College Mopa Amuro.
The Director-General of the Foundation, Chief Shola Adebola in his statement said Leke Abejide Foundation meant well for all the students and everyone.
He further advised the students on the need to study very hard and prepare for the exams to complement the efforts of the foundation and the sponsor Hon. Asiwaju Leke Abejide, Member Representing Yagba Federal Constituency.
The Foundation presented the bank drafts to the Principals and Representatives of each school in attendance, while they received on behalf of the students.
The Royal Father HRH, Engr Modupe Alfred Aiyedogbon the Alamuro of Amuro addressed the student on behalf of the Royal fathers present that the parents should help and support the students by encouraging them to study hard.
He further stated that Hon. Leke has been consistent and he can boldly say he is a good Christian who match his words with actions. “We are proud of his antecedents because he is trending on the path to higher greatness.
The Zonal Chairman for Western Senatorial District Mr Ajisafe Kayode the spokes person for the Principals expressed his gratitude to the foundation and the Honourable Member for his support in the aspect of Education, he said stated that they are indeed proud of what Hon. Leke and the foundation is doing.
