NAWIS Confluence State Chapter mourns Late CJ Justice Nasiru Ajanah


The Kogi State Chapter of the Association of Nigeria Women in Sports, NAWIS, has condoled with government and people of Kogi State and the entire Ajanah family over the passing of Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Nasiru Ajanah.

Until his death, the 64-year-old Justice Nasiru Ajanah, was the Chief Judge of Kogi State, died on Sunday morning.

The Association of Nigeria Women in Sport commiserated with his family, Nigerian Bar Association and Body of Benchers over the demise of the legal luminary.

Late Justice Nasiru Ajanah was a man of many facets, Altruist, Leader, Philanthropist, with many titles he garnered through his life’s work.

Your contributions to sports development can never be forgotten and you have created your name in the hearts of sports lovers which will live forever.

Vividly we can still remember your sponsorship of the kogi state chapter of NAWIS Mini Sports Festival single-handedly sponsored by him in 2006. Your philanthropic spirit is exceptional.

We urge family and all associates to find comfort in prayers and acceptance of the will of God.

We believe the late Chief Judge made a remarkable impact on the state, his chosen profession and community, with clear evidence that his death will create a huge gap in the judiciary.

We prays that the Almighty God will grant the soul of the departed a peaceful rest.
